The role
We are currently recruiting for a Sub Assembly Technician to join our team. Reporting to the Sub Assembly team leader, the individual will be responsible for the following tasks/duties -
- Assembly
- Service and sign-off of assemblies required for the running of race, test, PR and customer cars and rigs.
- Sub-assembly components and experience in the assembly / rebuilding of such components.
- The ability to work with multiple departments within the production team to ensure cohesion and continuity.
Ideal credentials
Extensive knowledge of all vehicle sub-assembly components and experience in the assembly / rebuilding of such components.
The ideal candidate will have experience in build, strip, service and sign-off testing of F1 components, including but not limited to, gearboxes and associated gearbox sub-assemblies, front and rear upright assemblies, clutches, brake calipers and brake material, to a consistently high quality whilst ensuring all assemblies conform to current Engineering and Manufacturing policies and procedures.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record working in a similar role preferably in motorsport. They will play an important part in assisting to improve the department’s performance, whilst maintaining a high standard of staff and department presentation.
The Location
The Williams Group are based in Grove, Oxfordshire. We offer free onsite parking and large open green spaces to unwind during breaks. We are a short 5 minutes’ from Wantage, our closest town center.
