We are looking for an exceptionally talented Structures Engineer to join the Structures group at Terrafugia's Research & Development Center, located in scenic Petaluma, near the San Francisco north bay area. Candidates should be self-starters who bring positive attitude, integrity and enthusiasm to our team as we work together to transform the face of air transportation in the 21st century.
Key Responsibilities and Activities
- Perform preliminary design analyses using hand calculation methods and FEA
- Support new product development including loads development, trade studies, and design sensitivity studies
- Communicate and aid in the transfer of knowledge to the prototyping team in Woburn, MA
- Assist with the development of sub-scale flying VTOL models in Petaluma, CA
