We are looking for a qualified Group Leader to manage our Structural Calculation Group and provide effective guidance.
As a Group Leader you will be responsible for
- supervising, managing and motivating group members on a daily basis, delegating tasks and setting deadlines, monitoring team performance, daily progress and adherence to set targets while creating an inspiring environment with an open communication culture.
- defining group members and competences development scheme, identifying training needs (including maintenance of skill matrix document) as well as providing coaching and guidance when needed to overcome technical challenges.
- the development and continuous improvement of FEA tools and methodologies.
Do you have
- a mechanical or aeronautical engineering degree or similar, with at least 8 years of professional experience as a stress analyst, ideally in Formula 1 or motorsport?
- excellent organizational, communication and people management skills with a proven past experience as a group leader or supervisor?
- sound stress analysis skills and knowledge in manufacturing processes of composite components with very good understanding of lightweight structures and load paths?
- experience of non-destructive structural testing methods?
- deep FEM tools knowledge, especially, HYPERWORKS, ANSYS, ABAQUS, Laminate Modeler or Laminate Tools (some knowledge of CATIA V5/V6 will be a plus)?
- a passion for sport or motor racing with a pro-active and “can do” attitude in contributing to and achieving team goals?
- a Swiss work permit or an EU nationality and therefore meet the criteria for a work permit in Switzerland?
