The position:
We are seeking a Stores Operative to join our busy and fast-paced team to look after the management and distribution of the Factory and Race Team clothing requirements.
The role:
The Stores department manages internal and external transactions of bespoke parts and consumables for the F1 team. Anything ranging from raw materials and team clothing to prototype car parts and nuts and bolts.
Whilst the focus of this role will be on the clothing aspect of the department, this will be a varied role, in an exciting environment, working with the Stores Team to achieve the many goals the department is challenged with.
To succeed you will need to be efficient, adaptable, show initiative and be able to work under pressure. You will solve problems whilst paying attention to the details and a “can-do” attitude is important. You will enjoy collaborating with the team and relish a challenge.
Skills you'll use every day:
- Multiple computer stock and reporting systems.
- Stock control of clothing.
- Reordering and restocking of clothing.
- Organising the distribution and dispatch of clothing supplies to the factory and Race Team.
- Managing rebranding and laundry requirements with suppliers.
The following core skills would be advantageous but not essential:
- Previous experience working in a stock-controlled environment.
- Previous experience working with clothing supplies.
- Knowledge of inventory management techniques and stock handling methods.
- Forklift driving license.
