Staff Accountant

Dallara Indycar Factory, a specialty motorsports manufacturing company in Speedway, Indiana, is looking for a motivated individual to join our growing team.  The candidate will report to the Financial, Planning & Operations Manager assisting him in the correct carrying out of all the tasks involving the financial and accounting process.

Responsibilities:

- To assist in maintaining timely and accurate accounting processes (payables, receivables, journal ledger, banks, reconciliations) for Dallara LLC, and other Group Companies.
- To assist with development and preparation of operational reporting and analysis and to identify the required improvement actions
- To assist with Group reporting requirements (P&L, B/S, FCF, monthly closing analysis, weekly/monthly forecasts, sales reporting, weekly financial reports including treasury management and cash flow projections)
- To cooperate with external auditors
- To manage newly implemented accounting system, maintain accurate accounting and costing information
- To assist in maintaining controls to ensure accurate perpetual inventory records and periodic physical inventory counts and cycle counting.
- To participate in building an efficient cost-control environment and advanced analytical view on industrial performance (product costing, KPI's…).
- To adhere to strong internal controls and assist in implementation of cost control measures.
- To assist the Financial & Accounting Manager with the co-ordination of annual budget and statutory audits.
- To assist with Working capital review including receivable collection and inventory management.
- To attain customer satisfaction concerning his work
- To continually develop and maintain formal checklists for the purpose of ensuring all financial activity is properly performed and documented on a timely basis.

Requirements:

-    Four year degree in Accounting or related degree with Accounting coursework.
-    Zero to 2 years experience
-    Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
-    Exposure to automated Accounting systems preferred; experience with Microsoft AX a plus
