Sr. Electrical Engineer- Prototype Engineering & Fabrication

Description

The Prototype Engineering and Fabrication team is a small, tight-knit team comprised of Mechanical, Electrical and Firmware Engineers, Technicians and Fabricators.  The team is responsible for the rapid engineering, build and bring-up of functional prototype vehicles to support current and future programs.  Projects range from ground-up vehicle builds to modification of existing platforms to evaluate new components and technologies.  As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, integrating and bringing up the control systems at the heart of these prototypes.

Responsibilities

  • Design electrical architecture and electronic circuits, including consideration of processor requirements and integration, system timing and bus loading.
  • Design hardware, source components, develop schematics, manage layout, and test prototypes to validate hardware.
  • Design and manage build of complex vehicle wire harnesses.
  • Debug and Bringup of vehicle systems.
