Plans Performance are a sports car specialist based in Bramley, Surrey. We specialise in the general maintenance and servicing of modern sports road and race cars, as well as support at track days and race meetings.
We are looking for an experienced mechanic with a minimum of 1 year’s experience as a full-time mechanic in the automotive industry, or a motorsport mechanic with at least 1 season in race team in British GT, BTCC, Britcar or similar.
Candidates should be able to work diligently and enthusiastically without constant supervision to an extremely high standard, and able to use initiative where necessary, as part of a small friendly team.
Candidates must have:
- An enthusiasm for sports and race cars;
- A positive attitude;
- A thorough understanding of vehicle mechanics;
- An ability to diagnose and fix a whole range of mechanical issues;
- A willingness to travel with the team to race meetings around the country and abroad;
- Full, clean driving licence;
- A willingness to learn new skills and to help others in the team;
- The ability to be accurate, focused and able to work well under pressure; and
- A commitment to hard work but with the upmost standards of quality and cleanliness.
