Software Engineer for an initial 6-9 month contract.
The purpose of the role is to develop the software for the ESS battery and other systems supporting Honda’s Formula 1 programme in order to ensure that performance and reliability targets are met. The role will be required to liaise with development teams in Honda-Sakura, Chassis Team and suppliers and to deliver software according to the schedule defined by Honda management.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Tools supporting development and testing to the battery test and the quality management of battery
• Software validation and testing
• Software development process, documentation and releasing
• Development of bespoke software for test equipment and experiments
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
• Experienced in the application of best practice software process and tools
• Matlab scripting (Simulink is not required)
• Visual C/C# (.NET) programming
• Expert in Visual Studio
• Class oriented approach
• Ability to identify root cause of issues both in design and process
