We have a new vacancy within our team as a Software Developer. This position will be within our Aerodynamics Office based in Enstone and will make a significant contribution to our car performance.
Software Developer – The Role
Reporting to the Head of Software - Aerodynamics, this role encompasses the development of bespoke software to enhance the capabilities of aerodynamicists, the wind tunnel, and production.
Key responsibilities include:
• Development and maintenance of engineering software.
• Continuous learning and knowledge sharing.
• Automated testing and review of others code.
• A good understanding of common industry practices (SOLID, DRY, etc)
Software Developer – The Person
We are looking for a proactive person that can communicate complex ideas with clarity and articulate challenging concepts in understandable terms. Previous experience of motorsport is helpful but not essential, we believe the right attitude and drive to succeed is vital to our success.
The ideal candidate will possess:
• A degree in a relevant subject (Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or Physics).
• An enthusiasm for learning and applying modern tools and techniques.
Experience with any of:
• Languages: Python, TypeScript, C#
• APIs: REST, GraphQL, gRPC
• Databases: SQL, MongoDB • DevOps: Git, Docker, CI/CD
