The Company is the officially licensed video game developer and publisher for iconic motorsport racing series including NASCAR and the British Touring Car Championship (BTCC). Role Purpose:

We’re looking for an eager, racing game fan to help us engage audiences across multiple platforms on a community-led project. At the heart of the project is encouraging racing video game fans to share, engage and ultimately be part of everything we’re producing, creating and introducing to our worldwide audience.

This opportunity is to work with an incredibly creative team that love racing games and esports to promote and cultivate a community around the content that our talented teams collaborate on.  You’ll be ensuring our short and long-form content reaches our existing audiences and inspires new fans to join the fold. The focus of this project is our community platform designed by gamers for gamers - Traxion.gg. We’ve started the journey but there’s a long way to go and we need your help shaping the future of the platform. The ideal candidate will be someone driven to succeed. Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

  • Create and maintain a strategy to ensure the success of the platform and consider feedback from key stakeholders across the business
  • Work with the team to build a community of racing game and esports fans across multiple platforms
  • Design and implement social media content plans
  • Work with external customers and partners to deliver upon expected KPIs
  • Assist in monitoring and moderating all public communication channels including social media and Discord
  • Liaise with editorial and video teams to ensure timely promotion on community channels
  • Provide engaging written copy for each post you make
  • Schedule and monitor live streams on Twitch, YouTube and Facebook
  • Report on key engagement metrics
  • Suggest new ways to grow our social media accounts
  • Coordinate with marketing, PR and comms teams to stay within brand guidelines

Skills & Experience

  • Understanding of the racing video games space
  • Strong writing skills
  • Exceptional verbal communication skills
  • Flexibility in working hours and days (may require weekend and evening work)
  • Proven experience managing social and community accounts
  • Ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders both internal and external
  • Experience of working within a high-pressure environment with tight deadlines
  • Based within a UK or Europe time zone (proximity to Silverstone office would be beneficial)
  • Motorsport, racing games and/or racing esports enthusiast
  • Previous journalistic or editorial skills would be preferred but not essential
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud for asset creation
  • Knowledge of basic video editing and live stream clipping

Hours: Your actual working hours will be discussed and agreed by your Line Manager in line with the needs of the business. It is expected that in addition you will work such hours as are necessary for the proper fulfilment of your post and the needs of the Business and its Clients.
