To help deliver against this global vision, we are seeking a Social Media Executive to support the ideation, production and distribution of content across F1 social media channels, including the production of branded content with partners. 

Based in our HQ in St James's Market, the Social Media Executive role will report to the Social Media Manager and fulfil the brief to make Formula 1 one of the most desirable and influential companies in the world.

The role:

  • Be the primary point within F1’s social media for understanding, organising and utilising data and insight to drive content decisions, work in conjunction with video and graphics teams to ensure creation and delivery of high-quality, engaging and dynamic content.
  • Conceive and introduce innovative new formats, ideas and concepts – with a particular focus on video and graphics – to shape how F1 presents itself to its fans (avid, light/casuals and yet-to-try).
  • Work in conjunction with various internal and external shareholders – including Creative Media & Digital Video, Commercial Partnerships & Licensing, Media & Corporate Relations, Race Promotion - regarding the creation, promotion and distribution of content.
  • Maintain the highest possible editorial standards and production values.

About You

A strong all-rounder with proven experience of delivering fan-centric content that drives audience reach and engagement within the different audience segments and social channels.

 

You have:

 

  • High-calibre social media Executive, with experience conceiving, producing and distributing social-first video and has worked as part of a digital news team
  • Substantial experience in social media content planning and distribution for large audiences
  • Experience of a fast-paced environment with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances and conflicting priorities
  • Best in class experience of working with and servicing internal and external clients and accounts
  • Robust community management experience
