PalmerSport is the leading operator of prestige corporate motorsport events and owns and operates the Bedford Autodrome circuit complex.
To ensure the upkeep and maintenance of the venue and its facilities, Bedford Autodrome is looking for a Site and Facilities Operative to join our team.
Site and Facilities Operative:
You will assist in the general maintenance and upkeep of the Bedford Autodrome grounds, guest facilities and equipment, ensuring that all areas are presented to a high standard at all times, as well as being fully aware of and complying at all times with COSHH regulations, Noise at Work Regulations and Health and Safety at Work.
You should have a practical, hands-on approach with some mechanical and/or electrical engineering experience with ground works and general maintenance jobs. Knowledge of plant and machinery and being accustomed to outdoor work would be advantageous.
This role requires you to have a methodical approach, with the ability to cope under pressure and meet tight deadlines along with a meticulous eye for detail. You will be flexible in work disciplines and have a can do attitude.
Due to nature of the business, there is a requirement to be flexible with working hours, including a requirement for evening and weekend working during busy months.
