Simulator Systems Engineer

We have a vacancy for a Simulator Systems Engineer to maintain and develop the real-time systems and software platforms of our world-class vehicle simulators.

 

This is an exciting role for a motivated and enthusiastic engineer to maintain and develop the software between the different simulator components and to develop the processes used with the team.

 

In this role, the Simulator Systems Engineer will Integrate the FIA SECU code and associated driveline models, develop and maintain the simulator safety systems and oversee the setup and configuration of the simulators telemetry systems and ensure that it is consistent with trackside operations.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be degree education in an engineering/science discipline or related subject
  • Interest in instrumentation, data acquisition, and telemetry tools and technologies combined with a desire to learn
  • Competent in using MathWorks tools, especially Simulink and associated code generation
  • Strong communication skills are key to success in his role, as the Simulator Systems engineer must be able to work with others, as the role involves significant interaction with other groups within the Vehicle Dynamics department.
