MTS European Consulting Services supports our customers with expert knowledge in MTS equipment and software, testing and hybrid simulation. Our work is divided in customer projects with commissioning, installation and training, and defined consulting projects. We have consulting teams in Europe, North America and Asia.
This is a highly interesting and technically stimulating position. You would work with outstanding MTS colleagues and with the major motorsports and vehicle OEMs worldwide.
Your new job with MTS consists of:
- Professional consulting providing expertise in Motorsports transmission testing, and vehicle driving simulators, and MTS complex test rigs and systems
- Providing technical advice and support for internal and external customers
- Supporting pre-sales, commissioning, acceptance testing, and troubleshooting
- Training our customers on standard / complex / custom systems
- Providing technical direction in the areas of testing methods, test rig setup and tuning, testing and analyzing methods, fault analysis and correction
- Assist in the development of software solutions and in the configuration of software applications to meet specific customer test needs and in the continuous development of MTS processes, tools, and methods
- Assist in seminars and exhibitions, giving presentations to an audience
- Travel to all European and worldwide MTS customers including MTS HQ in USA
Ideally some of these points are your assets:
- Master or PHD in mechatronics / electronics /controls
- Experience in F1 Industry or Ground Vehicle Testing
- Experience working with complex test rigs, preferable with MTS products, including commissioning, troubleshooting and advanced control and compensation techniques
- Programming skills related to complex test rigs
- Virtual modelling knowledge and mHIL experience related to Ground Vehicle industry testing.
- Experience in international customer service, a good business acumen is desirable
- High degree of flexibility and willingness to travel nationally and internationally
- Good communication skills in English language
