Job Description

To strengthen our racing team, we are to seeking simulation engineers to aid in the development of our simulation toolchain for use in our Motorsports program. You will work to develop the complete toolchain for a standalone simulation tool, starting from R&D to project planning through to implementation of both back and front end. This must include the use of software best practices. You will help define test procedures for vehicles on track to collect the required data to validate existing models. You will be required to deliver all projects to the highest standards, on time and within budget. You must have experience in using Dymola and Modelica, deploying models via the FMI standard, and have passion for crafting highly accurate and numerically efficient models.

  • Participate in bringing state of the art modeling and simulation to our tools

Additional Job Description

In order to succeed in this exciting role, we are looking for a graduate profile:

  • Bachelor’s in computer science or engineering field

  • 2-5 years of highly validated experience in design or testing gained within a motorsport organization

  • Knowledge of using Dymola/Modelica in a simulation toolchain

  • Knowledge of FMI standard and deploying FMU’s in co-simulation and model exchange is preferred

  • Highly analytical, client-oriented and structured, with positive relationship and communicative skills

  • Ability to multi-task in a multifaceted, constantly evolving environment, bringing a strong work ethic and integrity

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of software development in motorsport experience

  • NASCAR experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, or a related subject; Master’s degree is desirable

  • Knowledge and experience in tire modeling, construction, testing and validation is desirable

  • Experience with Concurrent or dSpace Hardware Real-Time Systems

  • Excellent knowledge of: Java, C/C++, SQL, Modelica

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to interact well with others

  • Must be a great teammate, be able to work a flexible schedule and have a high level of integrity
