Simulation Engineer

Responsibilities and job description:

  1. Define simulation models of mechanical and electromechanical components ensuring consistency with the components.
  2. Define mathematical models for simulating the behavior of materials, both FEA numerical that with parameters concentrator.
  3. Implement computational models to the practical applications, providing support and training to the Components Development mechanical and electromechanical engineers.
  4. Contribute, through analysis and simulations, to the definition of test procedures, development and validation of mechanical and electromechanical systems.
  5. Able to execute organized and structured activity to compare the calculation to the real experimental data as well from CFD and Structural and NVH.

Qualifications and Skills:

Mandatory:

  1. Bachelor or above degree, major in Mechanical Engineering is preferred
  2. Good spoken and written English, need to stay daily contact with HQ
  3. At least 2 years of calculation experience in mechanical and electromechanical component of automotive product.
  4. Knows theory of APQP, PPAP, SPC, MSA, Program Management, Cost Control, Product & Industrialization Understanding.
  5. Capacity to apply FMEA, ISO/TS16949, P2.
  6. Analytical, problem-solving capabilities
  7. Knowledge of mathematical methods, thermodynamics, mechanics, fluid dynamics, heat transfer, NVH and the strength of materials
  8. Experience of FE (linear and/or non-linear) and/or CFD modeling & analysis techniques
  9. Deep knowledge of Ansys WB or CFX/Fluent software
  10. Basic knowledge of parametric 3D CAD usage (preferably Catia and/or NX)
  11. Ability to clearly write and present technical data
  12. Team Working attitude, enthusiasm, strong desire to contemporarily learn and contribute
