Dart Machinery is a leading manufacturer of high performance engine components. We are seeking qualified candidates to join our fast pace Shipping and Receiving team in Warren, MI.
Responsibilities
- Use of a forklift, pallet jack and other material handling equipment to move products, parts and other materials
- Load and unload trucks
- Perform visual and dimensional quality checks on incoming materials as well as outgoing finished goods
- Accurately review orders, package and prepare parts for shipment
- Use shipping/receiving and ERP software to process orders and shipments
- Verify incoming shipments
Requirements
- Must have a high school diploma
- A minimum of 2 years of shipping and receiving experience is required
- Experience with external shipping software (ie UPS/FedEx systems) and ERP systems preferred
- Product/industry knowledge preferred
- Must be self motivated, organized and able to work well within a team
