SharePoint Developer - 24 Month FTC

The position:

We are currently seeking a SharePoint Developer to join our IT team.

Williams is a mature user of M365 and the underlying technologies. We are seeing rapid growth in requirements for online solutions. At Williams we like to be innovative and utilise the latest Microsoft offerings to solve business problems.

Williams is currently undertaking a programme of work to replace legacy SharePoint hosted web-applications writing in C#.NET and replacing them with solutions built using Modern SharePoint and the Power Platform. Along with the growing need for new applications is the requirement for enhancements and support of existing business-critical applications which have been developed in both classic and modern SharePoint.

The successful candidate will be a capable developer who is self-motivated and able to convert requirements into usable systems and innovative solutions with minimal assistance and supervision but realise and acknowledge the need to seek guidance where appropriate. The candidate must be able to deliver quality solutions to tight deadlines working in a pressurised environment.

The role:

As our SharePoint Developer you will:
•Run workshops with stakeholders to identify and analyse requirements, which lead to the production of accurate estimations.
•Work with technical Product Owners to design, develop, and implement all aspects of innovative SharePoint applications using agile principals and working practices.
•Liaising with stakeholders at all levels of the business to define and develop innovative and user-friendly solutions to business problems.
•Enhance and support existing systems within SharePoint Online.
•Support custom built SharePoint Applications built in Visual Studio.
•Migrate data to SharePoint Online lists and libraries from previous document repository.
•Creating custom workflows using SharePoint Designer.
•Implementing appropriate testing and quality assurance.
•Providing training and documentation to content editors and end users.
•Assist with application support where necessary.
•Follow the change management process for deployments.
