Responsibilities includes providing efficient testing and evaluation of engines, chassis drivetrain, components, and electrical systems including cell preparation, installing and removing jigs and fixtures from engines, and dyno; testing engines and maintaining testing equipment and support systems that ensures consistency, efficiency, quality, and testing standards are met.
Qualifications
Requirements are: Minimum of a High School Diploma. Some trade school internal combustion engine training a plus. Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience with electrical, fluid, and mechanical systems, preferably in the automotive, motorcycle or aviation industry. 5 to 7 years’ experience running engine or chassis dynamometers, and component test benches; applying and maintaining specialized testing equipment and instrumentation; engine and chassis drivetrain installation and removal on dynamometer. Ability to function in a high paced, stressful team environment with minimal supervision. Ability to effectively interface with various personality types and follow all department operating and safety policies and procedures. Must have excellent mechanical aptitude.
