Motorsport Games is a global team. Our HQ is based in sunny Miami, Florida and hosts the Digital Marketing and Product Development teams. The 704 Games team, based in nearby Orlando, work on our NASCAR games franchise. In Moscow, Russia, we have a first-class development operation delivering the very latest technology for our future products as well as additional development and esports operations based in England. Our UK office is just metres away from the main entrance to the home of British motorsport at Silverstone Circuit.

Motorsport Games is currently building a team in the UK to lead development on its new and highly ambitious racing games. We are looking to grow a relatively small, tight-knit team, capable of delivering big ideas through experience, smart process, and world-class tools. 

As a Senior Technical Artist, you will join an experienced cross-discipline team working on a AAA PC and console titles, where your expertise, enthusiasm, and communication skills will help crafting a product in line with the vision of the Director of Art. Working in the heart of development out of our Silverstone studio, you will play a key part in raising the bar of visual fidelity and performance for our upcoming title. 

Responsibilities

  • Work with the Director of Art to implement the targeted visual fidelity of the game.  
  • Explore new techniques to overcome technical challenges  
  • Build and optimise the content pipeline  
  • Work with the Art team to keep high quality content within performance budget  
  • Create content bound to strong technical knowledge

Requirements

  • You’ve worked with Unreal Engine  
  • You have a strong Art background  
  • You are comfortable with Material/Shader creation and optimisation  
  • You have experience with profiling tools  
  • You enjoy working in a cross-discipline environment  
  • You are pro-active and act on problems before they become blockers  
  • You clearly communicate your intents  
  • You strive to always learn and improve  
  • You always put the team first
