We have an excellent opportunity for a highly talented individual at Alpine F1 Team as a Senior Strategy Engineer.
Senior Strategy Engineer – The Role
The core responsibility will be the preparation, execution and analysis of race strategies. You will have accountability for the factory support for race weekends liaising with core groups (tyres and race engineering in particular) and working within a close-knit team.
The position is mainly factory based but with the potential to develop into a trackside role in future. Outside of race even activities, you will have responsibility for race strategy development projects including the development of software tools, analysis and operational methodologies.
Senior Strategy Engineer – The Person
The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years’ experience within high level motorsport engineering, including significant experience within F1 race strategy.
You will have a MSc or PhD level degree in a STEM discipline, be comfortable with MSc level mathematics and statistics, and possess a good understanding of F1 car performance.
