Senior Product Engineer

As a testimony to its success, in 2018 Honeywell will be spinning off the Transportation Systems business into a stand-alone, publicly traded company. Responsibilities: 

  • Work in cross functional environment with engineering community, sourcing and manufacturing peers
  • Play a key role in product development platform, from ideation, design, risk assessment to qualification:
  • Handle drawing reviews with internal and external partners (suppliers)
  • Participate in risk assessment sessions, FMEAs sessions and organize risk mitigation tests.
  • Order prototype units, and support assembly supervision.
  • Define test procedure, lead required test, analyze data and deliver technical reports.
  • ​​Support application integration:
  • Be creative in packaging solution, meeting system performance, reliability and durability targets.
  • Transversalize knowledge from peer’s experience on other applications
  • Be responsible of generic required validation (FEA and CFD simulation for performance and mechanical validation, test bench for proof of concept, endurance bench)
  •  Be comfortable with mechanical and fluid simulation principles, 3D design environment, drawing and tolerancing, excel data post treatment
