Senior .NET Developer

The position:
We are looking to recruit a Lead IT Software Developer who can direct the IT development team in the design, development, coding, testing and debugging of applications. With experience of mentoring Junior developers in writing testable, scalable and efficient code.

The role:
Key Responsibilities

Lead in the design and development of IT software solutions using agile principals and working practices
Determine operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development and proposed solutions
Continuously improve IT Software Development policies, procedures and processes
Mentor Junior and mid-level Developers on design patterns and development best practices
Ensure all code is reviewed before deployment
Work with 3rd parties to lead in the development of integrated systems
Work with Product owners in managing the Backlog and Sprint Planning
Be responsible for the Manufacturing Resource SQL Database and Data Warehouse development (Including SSRS Reporting)
Liaising with stakeholders at all levels of the business to define and develop solutions to business problems
Enhance and support existing systems
Implement appropriate testing and quality assurance
Follow the change management process for deployments
Attend Technical Working Groups
Assist in recruiting and onboarding new members of staff

Team/Developer Lead Experience

Desirable Skills:
Azure DevOps knowledge
DevExpress NET controls
SharePoint/O365 Development
Web Services
Knowledge of Azure development would be an advantage
