We have an exciting opportunity within our Aerodynamics Department for a Senior Model Maker. The successful candidate will join our highly skilled team, working at both our MK site as well as supporting our Wind Tunnel facility in Bedford.
The role’s primary responsibilities will be managing wind tunnel model production projects and interacting with team members to ensure high quality components are manufactured for the purpose of wind tunnel testing. Wind Tunnel test support will also be required as part of the role.
Candidates will require excellent technical competencies as well as being a pro-active problem solver. A strong leadership capability is ideal with a keen understanding and driven approach to systematic improvement.
The successful applicant will be highly motivated, an excellent communicator and able to work under pressure with a flexible approach to working hours across all of Red Bull Technology’s sites. Initiative and innovation are key qualities that are a requirement of working within the dynamic environment of a Formula 1 team. Previous wind tunnel testing experience is essential.
