Senior Manager, New Partnerships

At Formula 1 our vision is to unleash the greatest racing spectacle on the planet.  Our key to success is an organisation that values passion, integrity, and respect.  To help deliver against this global vision Formula 1 are looking for a Senior Manager, New Partnerships.  In this role you will be responsible for generating new sponsorship revenue for Formula 1 through global and regional partnerships.  Based at our HQ in St James's Market this role reports into the Head of New Partnerships. 

The Role:

  • Tailoring Formula 1’s suite of sponsorship opportunities to deliver custom offerings to prospective clients. 
  • Cultivating and nurturing relationships with prospective clients. 
  • Maintain day to day management of your client / regional patch ensuring that all intel is updated within the corporate sales database. 
  • Forecast timely and accurate sales activity regularly to Head of New Partnerships. 
  • Update activity/prospect status in weekly sales meeting with the wider team.
  • Act as an internal conduit for all prospective new partners. 
  • Work with the Head of New Partnerships to devise and deliver a robust sales strategy for your client base and region. 
  • Work with multiple internal and external stakeholders including brands and agencies. 
  • Lead by example with best working practices and processes for both short- and long-term deliverables.

About You

A strategic thinker, you will be able to demonstrate a proven track record of sponsorship sales with key relationships and high-level clients.

 

You have:

  • Significant experience gained in a similar role either brand or rights holder side.
  • Proven ability to manage and communicate with multiple stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to generate revenue.
  • Experience in sport partnerships would be an advantage. 
  • A strong understanding of brand and communications and the role of sponsorship in the marketing mix. 
  • Experience or knowledge of digital sales and strategy. 
  • Creative ability to inform bespoke client facing decks. 
  • A strong understanding of brand storytelling.
