Job Description:

NASCAR seeks a talented professional to join in the position of Senior Manager, Brand Marketing based in our Charlotte, North Carolina office.

The Senior Manager, Brand Marketing is responsible for day-to-day oversight of the company’s brand marketing campaigns including seamless integration with tracks and other key internal partners and external stakeholders, ensuring marketing plans are supporting business priorities.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Act as a leader and key contributor and in all aspects of brand marketing initiatives including campaign and creative development for Corporate and Track teams
  • Act as project management lead as assigned, overseeing all aspects of projects from development of initial concept to execution to final recap
  • Work closely with agency partners to manage projects, feedback and resources
  • Champion multi-channel campaign platforms to elevate fan/consumer engagement
  • Partner with marketing colleagues and internal departments to support industry marketing calendar and select industry initiatives
  • Collaborate with Social, Digital and Communications teams on development and delivery of holistic, consistent consumer messaging and content plans
  • Manage day-to-day execution and follow-up of Affiliate Task Force Program
  • Oversee creation of internal and agency status reports, including meetings with colleagues and management
  • Partner with Media team and agency to traffic league and track advertising creative
  • Manage production process in collaboration with Driver and Team marketing services
  • Support budget management and tracking

Required skills / experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 6 years of experience in marketing or marketing agency; project management in sports and/or consumer brand industry preferred.
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles
  • Exceptional team and interpersonal skills
  • Superior follow-through with a high-level of accountability for assigned tasks
  • Attention to detail and excellent organizational and time management skills

  • Ability to travel 10-15% including some weekends
