Senior Human Resources Generalist

Pratt Miller is seeking an energetic, hands-on and knowledgeable Senior Human Resources Generalist. The HRBP is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and works closely with the HR team in supporting five locations. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: recruiting, employee relations, training, performance management, onboarding, policy implementation, affirmative action and employment law compliance.

This position is a hybrid role. It requires employee to be on site 2-3 days each week.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Interview job applicants; review application/resume; evaluate applicant skills and make recommendations regarding applicant's qualifications

Develop and maintain relationship with employment agencies, universities and other recruitment sources.

Prepare and maintain job analysis and job description documentation

Assist in development and implementation of HR policies

Conduct new hire orientation

Assist in the delivery of employee development programs

Assist employees with benefits questions and annual open enrollment

Assist with annual performance management, succession planning and career development process

Provide advice, assistance and follow-up on company policies, procedures, and documentation

Recommend, develop and maintain human resource data bases, computer software systems, and filing systems.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's Degree and five or more years of HR experience

Knowledge of HR policies and procedures and employment/labor laws

Strong interpersonal skills

Proficient in MS Office

Experience in HRIS systems preferred

This position will require lawful access to ITAR/EAR controlled information and employees in this role will need to meet those requirements. Requirements include US Citizenship, US Permanent Resident or ability to meet licensure requirements.
