Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Finance Analyst to be a member of the Financial Planning & Analysis Team and interface with the Engineering and Purchasing Teams to determine and report program BOM cost from the single source of truth resources.  Your sources of truth will be the PLM BOM data repository and the Purchasing price database.  You will report out vehicle BOM material cost weekly and at the required event gateways.  

Responsibilities

  • Maintain costed BOM (Bill of Materials) for all trims and options  
  • Work closely across the internal organization (Primary: PLM Team, Purchasing and Engineering) and with external stakeholders (Engineering Service Provider(s)) to ensure vehicle material cost remains on target
  • Maintain an inventory of identified material cost roadmap actions and work with the Engineering and Purchasing Teams to deliver actions 
  • Lead cost forecasting, tracking and reporting for a vehicle program throughout the development lifecycle as it relates to Material Cost
  • Inform internal organization of any identified BOM issues to ensure these issues are resolved
  • Support change control workstreams to stay informed on pending and approved BOM structure changes
  • Ensure quality control over financial data, transactions, and reporting
  • Maintain relevant financial controls, policies, procedures & compliance

Experience Required

  • 5+ years of finance working as a BOM analyst for an OEM automotive manufacturer
  • Extensive experience using Microsoft Excel to extract, analyze and report on data
  • Extensive experience using a PLM system to extract BOM structures
  • Proven work experience on a vehicle program finance team
  • Proficient knowledge of production automotive vehicle programs, including development cadence, tooling, ED&D and piece cost
  • Ad-hoc assignments as required to support strategic Fisker initiatives

  • A self-starter who leads projects and brings deliverables to a close in a timely manner

 Additional Requirements

  • Must be able to lift 25 lbs unassisted, bend, stretch, stand for extended periods of time, climb stairs, reach, twist, sit, walk, and/or run.
  • Must be willing to work overtime and on weekends where needed to meet deadlines and company goals.
