Your tasks:
- develop and optimize the performance of Toyota’s hybrid race and road vehicles
- perform investigative studies to steer our vehicle design and development direction
- evaluate new vehicle concepts through simulation and advanced HIL technologies
- correlate vehicle and sub-system models against actual car and rig data
- provide high quality analysis with effective verbal and written communication supported by an excellent standard in technical report writing
The successful candidate will:
- ideally have a Masters and a strong Bachelors Degree in a relevant engineering discipline
- have knowledge and relevant experience of vehicle dynamics, tyres, suspension, aerodynamics and control
- be highly proficient with Matlab/Simulink
- have a methodical and analytical approach to problem solving
- be able to formulate clear conclusions with a strong technical reporting style
- be able to apply existing knowledge to new technical areas
- be able to work with minimal supervision and also be effective within a team environment
- have fluency in English language
