Senior Development Representative

Job Description

NASCAR Foundation seeks a talented professional to join our team in the position Senior Development Representative based in our Daytona, Beach office. 

The Senior Development Representative responsible for $600,000 fundraising goal by managing a combination of the fundraising initiatives outlined below.  This position requires a person with the ability to multi-task, handle communications, logistics and follow-through on multiple events/programs concurrently.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Responsible for developing and executing annual plan for Direct Mail & Marketing Program, includes day-to-day management of direct mail and online gifts, writing database instructions for pulling names from database, reviewing database file and creating gift array, designing and creating art files, creating online donation forms, reporting results and analysis for all direct marketing efforts.
  • Oversee Aegis Database data entry, pull reports, create donation pages, etc. Serve as technical advisor on all Aegis database efforts, provide training to staff as needed.
  • Responsible for supporting major donor giving and direct mail initiatives to maximize fundraising opportunities through donor solicitation and cultivation. This includes researching prospective donors, compiling data and reports from Foundation database and other sources in which Foundation staff can use in cultivation process. 
  • Responsible for event management and execution of specific Foundation fundraising events, including High Speed Hold ‘Em Poker Tournament and Over the Edge At ONE DAYTONA. Additional event duties as assigned.
  • Responsible for overseeing communications with Donor Advised Funds, leading quarterly calls, maintaining fund balance sheets, advise and process all necessary contracts, grants and invoices.
  • Travels throughout the NASCAR Season for fundraising and event execution (up to 25%) including weekends.

QUALIFICATIONS 

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university and two to three) years of fundraising, sales, marketing, administration and/or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
