We have a new vacancy within our team as a Senior Design Engineer (Technology). This position will be within our Engineering Office based in Enstone and will make a significant contribution to our performance.
Senior Design Engineer (Technology) – The Role
This is a multidisciplinary design orientated engineering role, focusing on developing, analysing and supporting high quality, right first-time test apparatus and test prototypes to contribute to key Technology projects and drive overall test efficiencies.
You will utilise your time and knowledge to advance and refine techniques focused on specific test design engineering disciplines. You will contribute to design group work plans and ensure the Technology Design Engineers are supported in their tasks, helping them to learn and grow within their roles.
Senior Design Engineer (Technology) – The Person
We are looking for candidates who have the drive and ambition to strive for excellence in what they do. Technically they will possess a CAD based specialisation in one of the disciplines below along with an advanced understanding of a second discipline:
• FEA modelling
• Kinematic modelling
• Rigid Body Dynamics modelling
• Hydraulic/Pneumatic design principals
The successful candidate will be a degree qualified experienced engineer and have a solid understanding of GD&T to produce parts of high quality.
