Job Description

NASCAR Event Management is seeking a Senior Coordinator of Racing Operations in Daytona, FL.

SUMMARY

Provides support for the daily requirements of Racing Operations. Assists the Racing Operations Department with clerical work, tracking of administrative and business details, and by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintains files and records for Racing Operations Department
  • Prepares, circulates for approval, and arranges for the production and distribution of Official Entry Blanks and Entry Coupons for all National and Touring Series events
  • Coordinate contingency information spreadsheets
  • Produces NASCAR Bulletins for the National and Touring series
  • Provide assistance with National and Touring sanction agreements
  • Work with Manager, Racing Operations and Member Services to Produce Driver/Owner agreements for National and Touring Series as well as other miscellaneous documents (Patch Place, DOPM Review, ROY for chgs., Print Request Form, etc.)
  • Assists with NASCAR member website administration
    • Posting Entry Blanks
    • Posting Bulletins
    • Review posted information
  • Answers phones and direct calls and assisting callers as needed
  • Generates correspondence and reports for the Racing Operations Department
  • Assist Racing Operations Department Vice President and other Racing Operations co-workers with Policy and Communication needs
  • Check coding and route invoices for approval and payment via WebNow
  • Document retention - Sanction Agreements. Also monitor to ensure compliance with document retention policy
  • Percent of travel required: 10% - 25%

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or general education degree (GED and three plus years related experience
