Job purpose

As the BSEMEA Total Rewards & Analytics function team member and under the supervision of the Total Rewards Managers, the Total Rewards Analyst supports various on-going or ad-hoc initiatives/projects within the Total Rewards area, and provides input for the successful completion of those projects.

Responsibilities

Market Analysis / Total Cash Analysis:

  • In coordination with the various BSEMEA entities, prepare data, check its quality, and complete salary surveys in a timely manner. Conduct analysis of survey results when required;
  • Use market data to support management with compensation decisions;
  • Conducts internal compensation analysis and propose compensation adjustments to support internal equity & market competitiveness;
  • Analyse the competiveness of companies compensation policies vs. market and recommends changes;
  • Supports Talent Acquisition team with recruiting initiatives, by preparing initial offers for management review.

Job Evaluations:

  • Support HRBPs/management in reviewing job descriptions;
  • Use job evaluation methodology to evaluate the jobs for management review and approval;
  • Maintain the Bridgestone Job Catalogue and proposes changes where/if necessary

Annual Performance & Rewards Cycle:

  • Contribute in the annual compensation review process by preparing data sets and system testing. Recommend system enhancements where/if necessary;
  • Support preparation of communication materials to end-users, managers, etc.
  • Insofar system generated reporting is not sufficient, generate regular reports to support and monitor the process;
  • With guidance from management, analyzes the data to continuously improve compensation program design & system set-up.

Benefits:

  • Complete benefits surveys and maintain an inventory of benefits data from the various entities; analyze data as requested;
  • Assist in benefits review / pooling / re-tendering processes by collecting and analyzing relevant data to support decision making;
  • Assist Benefit Manager with the company’s well-being initiatives, including scheduling well-being related events, tracking, processing and communicating well-being incentives and responding to well-being program questions or requests.

Recognition:

  • Serves as the coordinator of company’s recognition program providing guidance for day to day administration of programs and customer service for questions or issues.

General:

  • Maintain Total Rewards budget and provide reports when necessary. Support the team with tracking vendor invoices etc;
  • Collaborate with HR Business Partners and HR Operations to ensure Rewards programs are implemented and maintained properly;
  • Conducts regular checks to ensure compensation data in the organization is updated, accurate, and propose improvements when needed;
  • Ad hoc support to HR Business Partners & Operations on Rewards

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field (ideally within Human Resources, compensation, benefits and/or organizational development concentration).
  • 1-2 years of experience related to Compensation and Benefits , with some knowledge of:
    • Wage and labor law (excluding labor relations);
    • Compensation theories, best practices and trends;
    • Benefit plans design, regulatory compliance knowledge and trends;
  • Demonstrate strong analytical skills, creativity and ability to gather and analyze market data;
  • Expert/advanced proficiency in MS Office Excel, Word and PowerPoint ;
  • Experience with HRIS applications is a plus;
  • Strong customer service orientation, maintaining a positive, can-do attitude with desire to learn and grow. Focuses on delivering quality products and services;
  • Demonstrate the ability to work well under pressure;
  • Demonstrate well developed communications skills, both verbal and written, necessary to interact in a professional manner and to project a positive image
  • Able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks concurrently. Excellent project and organizational management skills required;
