JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary/Objective
The Security position is responsible for providing quality and efficient customer service to our customers at the Main Gate. This security personnel will operate the main gate and conduct the following job responsibilities: Getting park waivers signed by adults, banding customers, providing direction, taking payment on occasion, monitoring park, securing building and safety in park, attending to customer needs, and also other job responsibilities given by Supervisor.

  • Provides daily direction and communication to employees, customers and guests that enter the park.
  • Responds to and resolves guest relations issues related to security or RV Camping.
  • Assists the manager with daily operation of the call center to include the development, analyses and implementation of staffing, training, telemarketing, scheduling and reward/recognition programs.
  • Works as a member/leader of special or ongoing projects that are important to area/process improvement.
  • Shares continual responsibility for deciding how to manage the employees, ensuring calls are handled efficiently and effectively.
  • Follow and stay up to date with work procedures and processes that support the company and departmental standards, procedures and strategic directives.
  • Uses appropriate judgment in upward communication regarding the Main gate for safety purposes.

Work Environment

This job mainly is based in a building. The role will operate company vehicles and monitor the park to ensure its safety.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work 

This is a part-time position. Days and hours of work vary. Frequent evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

Required Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or GED diploma or equivalent number of years’ experience.

Preferred Education and Experience

  • 2 to 4 years experience in a Security role.
