Working Hours: Varies, typical 8 to 10 hour shifts
Purpose:
Accommodate park patrons by welcoming, first point of contact from a guest, answering general questions, guard stations, patrol premises, monitor facility cameras, prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules.
Primary Job Duties:
- Greets guest of the park and provide information or resolve issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized office and work environment
- Monitor and authorize entrance of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft
- Provide information in an effective helpful manor.
- Control of track entrance and exit through pit gates.
- Control of pedestrians through pit gate access.
- Perform grounds and paddock patrol for safety, preserve order, and protect property.
- Patrol ground to ensure security of grounds and buildings.
- Disposing of litter when in contact.
- Answer alarms and investigate disturbances.
- Complete daily reports of activities and irregularities
- Call police or fire departments in cases of emergency, such as fire or presence of unauthorized persons.
- Assist with litter and trash patrol and disposal from paddocks, classrooms, common areas
- Knowledgeable of all areas and amenities of the park
- Other duties as assigned
Education & Experience Requirements:
- HS Diploma or GED
- Some knowledge of motorsports, but not required as training is provided
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand and sit for long periods of time
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50lbs
- Ability to remain alert at all times in a loud and busy environment condition
- Ability to install barriers and signage of various sizes and material
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
Work Setting:
- Outdoor working environment with the typical outdoor temperature, exposed to all types of weather conditions.
