Your Role & Responsibilities

  • Interfaces with various individuals at our customers and different locations within the MAHLE organization.
  • Acts as primary contact with external sales representatives , warehouse distributors and other customers
  • Takes responsibility for customer satisfaction and follows the company’s strategies, goals and missions
  • Coordinates and conducts technical training activities with customers and sales reps.
  • Understands customer requirements and tasks in order to be able to lead and define the most competitive, reliable and acceptable way to fulfill these requirements within the limitations of the company's strategies, goals, missions, and production capabilities
  • Coordinates market research for performance piston and related components development projects. Coordinates research and testing activities conducted jointly with potential customers of the company’s products. This requires handling the necessary correspondence and customer contacts related to the application and sales duties of the assigned accounts. It also includes general administration duties as well as special assignments as needed
  • Follows up on newly developed techniques and practices in order to be able to support our customers in their piston development programs and other aspects relevant to MAHLE Motorsports
  • Follows market trends and keeps management informed on all important issues concerning assigned accounts
  • Represents company at industry trade shows and association meetings to promote product

Your Skills & Strengths

  • Bachelor's degree (B. S.) in Engineering from a four-year college or university; or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Cooperative, highly flexible, self motivated and willing to work overtime if necessary
  • Managerial mind set and have the drive to achieve high goals
  • Systematic working methods and good time management is required
  • Proficient in use of computer programs such as Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Knowledge of motorsports industry and of automotive engines
  • Must become familiar with MAHLE technology and design procedures
