DESIGNERS
As the works Renault F1 Team progresses up
the grid we are looking to expand our Race
Car Design Group. If you have ambition and
wish to join an organisation that intends to be
fighting for the championship soon, then let’s

We are looking for Senior Engineers with
significant and relevant motorsport
experience and Engineers who already have
relevant experience, and believe in the next
5 years they can become a Senior Engineer.
POWER UNIT DESIGNERS
Ref: RSR-UK-Des02
Packaging the Power Unit designed by our
colleagues in Paris. Responsible for systems
such as Fuel, Hydraulics, Electrical and Cooling. SUSPENSION DESIGNERS
Ref: RSR-UK-Des03
Designing the inboard / outboard suspension
systems and ducts whilst working closely with
their composite colleagues on suspension
composite components.
COMPOSITE DESIGNERS

Designing major structural and non-structural
composite components.
FEA STRESS ENGINEERS

Analysing components employing the latest
non-linear techniques to optimise all
components of the car to save weight and
add performance.
MATERIALS ENGINEER

Our state of the art laboratory’s function is
increasing and we require engineers who can
cross the divide between laboratory/design office.
Renault Sport Formula One Team is a professional motorsport outfit currently
competing in the FIA Formula 1 World Championship. Since first entering
Formula 1 as Toleman Motorsport (1981 – 1985), the squad has competed under
the banners of Benetton Formula (1986 – 2001), Renault F1 Team (2002 – 2010),

Lotus Renault GP (2011) and Lotus F1 Team (2012 – 2015). To date, the team
has taken 3x Constructors’ World Championships, 4x Drivers’ World
Championships and 49 Grand Prix victories.
The team’s headquarters in Enstone, Oxfordshire is a state-of-the art Formula 1 facility
which plays home to over 600 people; including many of the world’s leading minds in
aerodynamics, advanced materials research, engineering and automotive design.

the broad remit of business operational support; including Human Resources, Finance,

For all these positions, candidates will need:
• A Mechanical Engineering degree or similar qualification
• Substantial level of mechanical or composite design experience
in high level motorsport
• Knowledge and experience of current manufacturing techniques
• Some project management skills
• CAD system usage experience
You must be eligible to work in the UK, and as our factory is remote, hold a valid
driving licence.
Candidates must be self-motivated, capable of working with minimal supervision
to tight deadlines, and be confident in communicating in a team environment.
