Remote Specification Specialist

Job purpose

Remote Specification Specialist. This job will remotely assist in setting up and managing Automotive Vehicle Service Maintenance Schedules according to manufacturer and dealer recommended guidelines.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Coordinating and scheduling remote specifications setup with Distributors and Dealership using GoToMeeting and Microsoft Outlook
  • Updating, notating and tracking case work in JIRA
  • Check source documents and data for accuracy
  • Critical attention to detail, verify data input and correct when necessary
  • Taking ownership, tracking and managing remote specifications setup from beginning to end
  • Manage multiple schedules and activities in fast pace fun environment
  • Follow-up with Dealership Management to verify labor and parts specifications for maintenance menus
  • Consult to dealership management using learned best practices from industry
  • Use SmartSheet, Access database or similar database
  • Weekly updates to management on overall progress on pending case work
  • Other duties as assigned


  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Technical college degree preferred
  • 1 – 2 years of help-desk experience or equivalent preferred
  • Previous automotive service experience required (Mechanic, Technician, Parts Advisor, Service Advisor, Service Manager, Parts Manager)
  • Multi Lingual – Spanish and or French is a plus but not required
