Job Description

The Recrutier for Sales Academy will manage the Sales Academy recruiting process.  

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Assess staffing needs of the NASCAR Sales Academy and develop recruiting strategy, conducts market research as needed and makes recommendations on compensation level and sourcing initiatives.
  • Actively work with colleges to help build solid recruiting pipeline and ensure receipt of NASCAR Sales Academy information and opportunities
  • Attending Major Sports Business Career fairs with Sales Academy information
  • Assist in scheduling onsite/Skype meetings with key University personnel
  • Work with Management to ensure accuracy of all recruiting documentation
  • Serve as main bridge of communication with Sports Business Solutions to ensure all recruiting and training event needs are met.
  • Assist to ensure accuracy of all Inside Sales Rep and Account Executive postings.
  • Confirm that postings are up on all partner recruiting sites.
  • Manage social media channels to help convey job opportunities as well as leverage the program brand to reach additional future candidates.
  • Assist with preliminary job interviews
  • Serve as an advisor on new opportunities for fresh or innovative recruiting practices/channels
  • Develops or updates current job description, thoroughly reviewing FLSA status. Responsible for correctly classifying each position.
  • Manages approval process, ensuring proper information, signatures and documentation are attached.
  • Initiates and manages advertisements, recruiting firm contacts, etc. appropriate for locating qualified candidates. Reviews all resumes received and decides which candidates to present to hiring managers for review.
  • Conducts phone and face to face interviews with candidates, makes judgement calls on who to recommend to the hiring manager for consideration.
  • Works with hiring manager and coaches to ensure appropriate candidates are selected for the opening. Provides expert counsel and makes recommendations to hiring manager.
  • Ensures applicants complete the standard application and that proper pre-employment checks, tests and references are conducted.
  • Assists with other projects as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or two (2) to four (4) years related recruiting experience, preferably with a combination of agency full desk and corporate professional recruiting.

Prefer previous experience in outbound sales or recruiting for outbound sales.
