Job Purpose:
- Develop products for EMEA markets as part of an integrated project team, embracing a strong project management discipline and facing technical challenges in order to meet future needs. Specific focus on development activity in tire design.
Main Accountabilities:
- Contribute to the technical development of tires by participating in technical teams;
- Contribute to the process of benchmarking, designing prototypes, planning and analyzing test results, and preparing technical documentation;
- Participate in defining engineering approach and in planning and scheduling work;
- Prepare appropriate documentation for assigned projects.
Working relationships:
- All Functions within the Technical Center;
- Bridgestone Corporate Functions;
- Manufacturing plants in Europe (Spain and Turkey) and South Africa.
Technical skills:
- University: degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Aeronautical, Automotive)
- Computer: very good MS Office package knowledge, good CAD/PRO-E capabilities, programming languages and virtual simulation.
- Other: basic knowledge of tire construction nice to have
- Language: fluency in English, Spanish nice to have
