Rally Safety Engineer

MISSIONS AND RESPONSABILITIES

  • Support rally organisers to identify and effectively manage the safety risks to competitors, volunteers, officials, marshals, media and spectators
  • Develop and maintain best practice guidelines and regulations for the safe planning, organisation and supervision of closed road events
  • Conduct detailed accident investigation for incidents involving non-occupants with particular focus on operational factors, making robust conclusions and proposals for practical corrective action

This position encompasses various FIA disciplines including WRC, Regional Rally Championships, Cross-Country and Baja

PROFILE

  • A strong motorsport engineering background in a professional rally team or manufacturer environment
  • Qualified to degree level with a minimum of 3 to 5 years experience, preferably on-event
  • Knowledge of the tools and methodology commonly used in motorsport data analysis
  • Demonstrated proficiency in written and verbal communication, including creating and delivering training content, drafting of technical and regulatory documents
  • Fluency in English; French language skills would be an advantage
