Race Team Spares Coordinator

The position:

We are looking to recruit Race Team Spares Coordinator to work within our Car Assembly team.

The role:

Reporting to the Assistant Car Assembly Manager, you will control parts supply by lifting, ordering & stock level control on the race team. You will also assist in the transport, build and operation of garage facilities at any events.

Core competencies:

This role will require you to coordinate race team car spares, race team consumables as well as assist mileage records, assist with Air/Sea Freight paper work. You will also work collaboratively with other technicians for garage build and operation plus team presentation.

In compliance with national Secure Freight Consigner conditions, five years’ continuous employment, education and/or training must be evidenced and any gaps exceeding 28 days accounted for. A criminal record check will also be carried out. This will be explained in more detail during interview.

Core Skills:

Operational duties will consist of, but will not be limited to, the following:

  • Attending races, Test, PR events as required.
  • Conversant with all computer systems for this role
  • Keep an up to date track on all race car parts and spares.
  • Communicate parts supply and return requirements with mechanics/technicians.
  • Generate reports from database management system as and when required.
  • Assist with all Sea/Air freight paper work.
  • Maintain component usage records.
  • Carry out necessary maintenance/servicing of any equipment both at the factory and events.
  • Maintain a high standard of cleanliness & presentation of all equipment & proactively work to maintain and improve the team presentation at events.
  • Operate certain equipment as required at events in support of the running of any cars.
  • Report any faults or issues with any equipment/components which may lead to failure.
