As part of the expansion and strengthening plan for our race team we have vacancies for Race Team Mechanics.

In this role your key areas of responsibility will include but are not be limited to:

  • Build and Maintenance of Chassis Assemblies
  • Build and Maintenance of Front and Rear Wing Assemblies
  • Build and Maintenance of Front End and Suspension Assemblies
  • Build and Maintenance of Spare Rear End and Suspension Assemblies
  • Build and Maintenance of garage equipment.
  • Participating as part of the Race Team Pit Crew

 

The successful candidate will be required to demonstrate:

  • Previous experience as a Race Mechanic in a Formula One environment / high level Motorsport environment is essential
  • An excellent working knowledge of Race Cars
  • A thorough understanding of Car set-up and all Race Team requirements pre, post and during events
  • A good working knowledge of allocations, drawings and schedules
  • The ability to be a strong team player with a positive and adaptable attitude in a demanding and rapidly changing environment
  • Availability to travel throughout the full race and test schedule and be flexible in working hours as required
  • An ability to calmly and confidently work under pressure
  • An ability to build and maintain good working relationships with internal departments and outside suppliers
  • Results orientated attitude and be confident in your decision-making skills
  • Good communication skills, to be self-motivated and to motivate others to thrive in a challenging environment
  • Ability to demonstrate a clear understanding of and commitment to Health & Safety
