Simply Race are looking for an enthusiastic person to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong interest in motorsports and possess basic computer skills. We are also looking for someone that will be able to form excellent relationships with our guests, the foundation of which our award-winnning, five-star rated venue is built upon.
We often work in a fast-paced environment and expect candidates to work well under pressure with group sizes of up to 100 people at once. The majority of our systems work on custom software and hardware so there will be a learning curve for any applicant, for which training will be provided.
Duties are wide-ranging and varied but always revolve around creating a first-class environment for our guests. Regular duties include (but are not limited to):
- Welcoming visitors to the venue, giving them a short instructional briefing on the controls and format of their event.
- Taking bookings both over the phone and in person.
- Completing transactions.
- Serving snacks and beverages.
- Keeping the venue presentable throughout the day.
- Replying to email enquiries.
- Managing the laptime/data/servers (training will be given).
- Short presentations at the end of events
- Applicants must be willing to work weekends and evenings. Not all shifts will be at these times but the majority of our event bookings are outside of normal working hours. Please do not apply if you are not willing or able to work these shifts.
- Applicants must be 18 or over to sell alcohol unsupervised at times.
