Responsibilities:
- Greeting customers
- Effectively responding to all customer inquiries (via phone, mail, email, and in person)
- Selling the karting experience to potential customers
- Booking races and group events
- Accurately processing customer payments (ensuring proper billing, collecting proper payments, and providing correct change)
- Setting and managing customer expectations
- Cleaning and maintaining the registration, briefing, and race prep areas
- Ensuring customer safety to the degree possible
- Respectfully following management instructions
- Effectively communicating with management
Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years of age or older as of the employee’s start date
- High School Diploma or GED
- Able to communicate clearly with customers and staff members in English
- Capable of performing the physical aspects of the job, including bending and twisting, standing for long periods of time, and lifting up to 30 pounds
- Able and willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays
