We currently have exciting opportunities for Quality Technicians to join our Quality Team based in Surrey.
Responsibilities:

Support the Supplier Quality Engineers to obtain Inspection reports and PPAP documents from our suppliers

Support the Supplier Quality Engineers by reviewing inspection reports to confirm parts meet the design specification

Communicate to the Supplier Quality Engineers any non-conformances or omissions in the Inspection Reports or PPAP submissions

Upload of documentation onto the GMA database

Maintain the PPAP tracker and communicate status of PPAP to the Quality team
-
Record the results of the Goods-in inspection defined on the Homologation mandatory Inspection plan
-
Support the Quality Engineer to investigate lineside quality issues

Manage containment of non-conforming parts found in the quality checks or manufacturing processes

Manage the Quarantine area and report to the Quality Manager any parts pending disposition for more than 2-weeks

Support the Quality Engineers to run the Non-Conforming parts process including supplier chargeback for rejected parts

Support the Quality Engineers to Contact suppliers for any Corrective Action Requests not returned after 48 hours
Experience and Qualifications:

Experienced in stock sorting and containment

Experience of uploading data and able to use MS Excel

Basic knowledge of Initial Sample Inspection Reports (ISIR) and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP)

Understanding and interpretation of engineering drawings

Basic Inspection Methods and Equipment

Understanding of manufacturing processes
