Race Winning Brands has an immediate opening for a Quality Improvement Technician to work in the facility in Mentor, OH. The primary duties include but are not limited to:
- Resolving any quality issues of compatibility, tolerancing and material related issues.
- Resolving quality issues by identifying problems, examining solution problems, implementing action plans and providing resources.
- Oversee entire RMA process from receiving to final determination. Control and report RMA data to Quality Manager.
- Effectively communicate and reinforce RWB's commitment to quality improvement efforts and quality objective
- Perform failure analysis on returned parts to determine cause of failure
- Work with Engineering and R&D departments as needed
- Review and analyze results to identify patterns in RWB's processes. Recommend changes based upon finding and perform follow up to verify effectiveness.
Basic Requirements
- Two-year Associates Degree in Technology or related field
- Degree requirement can be waved with a minimum of 4 years of experience in a QC/CI role
- Various American Society of Quality Control certificates are helpful; for example: CQE, COA, CQT
- Proficient at Excel, Word, Outlook required
- Knowledge of ISO9001:2015 preferred
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without company sponsorship
- Must be able to communicate clearly in English
