Quality Inspector

We have an exciting new opportunity to join an engineering company who work on high precision machined parts mainly in the motorsports, and electronics sectors.

As well as an engineering background you will have a comprehensive understanding of machine manufacturing and be able to read in depth customer drawings.

Working on first offs and final inspection, helping prepare FAIR’s / ISIR’s for safety critical parts. Maintaining the quality of our output.

Skills required

  • A proven track record in the use of Co-ordinate Measuring Machines, both in measuring and programming(CMM)
  • Ability to use other forms of measuring equipment including, Tesa Hite Gauge, Shadow graph, both vertical & horizontal projection
  • Ability to use manual forms of measuring equipment
  • Strong communication skills
  • Good time keeping and attendance are essential
  • Ability to work unsupervised within a small team environment

Advantageous Skills

  • Knowledge of PCIDIMIS preferable but not essential
  • Engineering background
  • Experience in the Formula 1 sector
  • PC-DMIS, Aberlink, QCT Software
