About the role:

We are looking for an enthusiastic Quality Assurance Trainee Inspector to join our Quality team. You would be reporting into our QA Manager and working in an established team. You will be inspecting composite components before passing them through to our despatch department, ready to be delivered to our customers. So having an eye for detail is key.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities Include:

  • Approves in-process production by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests.
  • Communicating required adjustments to Production Supervision.
  • Ensure Inspection and dispatch processes are performed to the required standard and in a timely manner.
  • Ensure that all work tasks, procedures, and documentation meet the requirements of the Pentaxia Quality Management System.
  • To work to customer drawings and specifications.
  • Keep measurement equipment operable by following instructions and ensuring that all instrumentation is calibrated.
  • Ensure that all necessary work control documentation is completed in a timely manner.
  • Fulfil any training program deemed necessary to allow the efficient performance of duties and development of personal performance
  • General housekeeping duties as required to ensure a safe and tidy workplace.
  • Health and Safety compliance.
  • Any other duties as required and deemed to be commensurate with the job position.

Inspectors Daily Duties

  • Faro inspection for both in process work and pre-dispatch (Once trained).
  • Final inspection to marked up drawings or Statements of Work (Once trained).
  • Final visual inspection of any automotive dispatches (Once trained).
  • Shop floor inspection duties as and when required (Once trained).
  • To ensure the timely completion of all in process documentation (Once trained).
  • To assume the role of 'Responsible Person' IAW Wl-024 (Once trained).
  • To assist in the control of non-conforming/quarantine products (Once trained).
  • To aid the effectiveness of the Calibration Schedule IAW Wl-017 (Once trained).
  • To (batch) inspect any incoming Subcontract items as required (Once trained).
  • To maintain a safe and healthy workplace in line with current regulations (Once trained).
  • To assist where required in the maintenance of the QMS (Once trained).
  • To assist in the development of statistical reporting (KPl’s) (Once trained).
  • To monitor the effectiveness of shop floor Corrective Actions (Once trained)
  • To Report Right First-Time performance (Once trained).
