Quality Assurance Engineer Intern

Join our dynamic Formula 1 team in Enstone, Oxfordshire, and be part of the excitement! We're on the lookout for a Quality Assurance Engineer Intern to contribute to our fast-paced environment. This role is a 1-year Internship starting in July 2025. 

As a Quality Assurance Engineer Intern, you will work closely with our Quality Assurance Engineering team, gain exposure and experience in a wide range of Quality Assurance activities including managing non-conformance, investigations, root cause analysis, and auditing.

 

The role:

  • Ensure the identification and control of all non-conforming products.
  • Work with other departments to communicate and investigate quality issues
  • Assist with reviewing and updating system control processes as well as the implementation and efficiency of quality and inspection systems
  • Work with engineering and manufacturing departments to improve operational performance
  • Prepare reports to communicate outcomes of quality activities Participate and support projects within the Quality department

 

The person:

  • An undergraduate student in at least second year, and on target for 2:1 or above
  • Able to create a positive profile for yourself and the department with a ‘can do’ approach
  • High performer with the ability to remain focused and objective under pressure, working to strict deadlines with minimum supervision
  • Self-motivated , proactive and well organised with an attention to detail
  • Good problem solver that can take initiative and seek results in a structured way
  • Confident oral and written communicator to ensure appropriate information is understood, recorded and passed to relevant parties
  • The ability to learn to be persuasive and a good negotiator in order to get people onside to resolves issues
  • Be able to present and discuss quality issues confidently
  • Learn about Quality Management Systems and Quality Assurance processes suited to lean/agile production of low-volume, short lead-time precision parts
  • PC literate with good working knowledge of MS office,(Excel, Word,)
  • Accurate administration and report writing skills
